Yes, TJ uses Face as her "ranch horse," ponying weanlings from him as well as trail riding with all of the CHHR boarders.

Ah, the joy of a nice run in the arena after rolling in the sand!

Although Face has been "retired" from showing for several years, TJ recently took him to a fun local "Show-deo" and he still strutted his stuff!

Fifteen years old and still going very strong!

TJ and Face are pretty "close" . . . she seldom saddles him, preferring to ride bareback around the ranch with only a halter!

Yes, the tail is REAL (back when Face was being shown and the tail was kept braided, washed, and in tail bag). He's retired now, but TJ still has to cut it periodically to keep Face from stepping on it.

TJ and Face won the Amateur Western Riding circuit award at one of the 2005 AQHBA shows in San Antonio, with trainer Liné Martin's coaching.

What a thrill it was for TJ to meet trainer Don Boyd at an AQHA show in San Antonio. Don trained and showed "Face" to his AQHA Championship in Face's younger years. A few stories were heard about Face's young man antics.
