ZiZi "ZiZi" is a 1999 Percheron/Quarter Horse cross owned by Peggy Kraus of Bandera. The big black mare was recently used in the Triple H Equitherapy Program in Pipe Creek, but Peggy moved her here to CHHR so that she can ride with her husband Kurt.
We've had to give ZiZi a lot of TLC. She was the boss mare in a turned out herd at Triple H. Plus, she was loved by all the children there and fed mega-treats. Here at CHHR she's having to make new friends, and doesn't get all the hand-outs. In fact, Peggy has her on a diet. Poor ZiZi! ZiZi is a big girl, probably weighing around 1600 pounds. Don't get stepped on, Peggy!
