Rosco "Rosco" (we think a dachshund/schipperke cross) came through the shelter and into the family. He was first adopted by a family in San Antonio with two small boys, then given to their cousin Gary Gorrell, then handed over to Gary's parents Mike and Judy Gorrell. Rosco has been through it all, but seems to have Mike and Judy wrapped around his puppy toes.
Here's Rosco and his new dad Mike Gorrell. Former owner Gary Gorrell just graduated from Texas A&M. Rosco was an active part of campus life there, but Gary is now back in the active US Army.
