Bandera County Cowgirl Roundup and Showdeo Self-named "Cowboy Capital of the World," Bandera (TX) has a yearly gathering of cowgirls of the county. In 2010 an early January a call went out for cowgirls to meet for a Cowgirl Round-up and Show-deo at the Hill Country Natural Area's arena. Nearly 70 cowgirls were there for the panoramic photo followed by a "show and tell" program where groups took to the microphone, explaining their various involvements with horses while showing off in the arena. Julie Dinse on Roses Moses, TJ Corgill on Face It Im Chilly, and Sherry Rosser-Carrol on TA Rodansk demonstrated ACTHA trail obstacles for the crowd. Then the other cowgirls tried their horses on the obstacles. Fun was had by all!
